I always enjoy visiting local businesses in my constituency. Last Friday I was in Heswall to visit the Whitfield Business Hub.
They support business by offering them services. I visited them to hear about their business and to meet the staff but also to discuss an exciting project that is being organised by their
Director and newly elected Chairperson of the Heswall District Business Association Justine McLaughlin.
The project is called the Heswall Ice Business Festival and will showcase Wirral’s businesses.
The festival is described by organisers as being creative, interactive and educational and something that will bring the community together.
The festivals dates and times are as follows: Thursday 1st Dec – 4pm till 9pm, Friday 2nd Dec – 4pm till 9pm, Saturday 3rd Dec – 10am till 9pm and Sunday 4th Dec – 10am till 4pm.
The event will host stalls in traditional German market style including luxury wine tasting; premier BBQ Food, boutique clothing and children’s workshops.
I think this is a great initiative and you can donate to expand and develop the festival here. www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Heswall-ICE-Christmas. You can find out more about
There will be live music at the event provided by Wirral Radio.
It looks set to be a great Christmas event for all the family and it would be lovely if you could make it to show your support for Heswall’s Town Centre and Wirral’s businesses.
If you have a Christmas event in Wirral South coming up let me know about it so I can help publicise and possibly attend.
