Alison McGovern MP to hold a Friends Group meeting for newly opened Port Sunlight River Park
Alison McGovern MP for Wirral South is inviting anybody with an interest in the park to come along to a meeting she is chairing to discuss a strategy going forward
Alison said: “There has been a lovely community response to the park so far and I want to invite anybody with an interest in its development to come together in one room to devise a strategy. The park will rely on community volunteers and I know that people are very positive in general about this new addition to our community given the number of people that turned out to attend the open day.”
Adding: “It is never too late to become involved but if you are interested in volunteering in any capacity coming along to this meeting would be beneficial. It will be an opportunity to ask questions and find out how together we can help sustain it for future generations and you will have the chance to officially sign up to join our Friends Group.”
The meeting will take place on the 10 October at 6.30PM in the Lady Lever Art Gallery café. It is important to RSVP attendance for this event.
