On Monday 24 April we kicked off our campaign in style.
Our brand new office, opened especially for the duration of the campaign, was filled with enthusiastic volunteers who are ready and willing to get out onto the streets of Wirral South and make sure we hold it for Our Alison.
Alison gave a warm welcome to the volunteers who will be helping to re-elect her on June 8th, thanking them for their support over the coming weeks, and all the hard work they would put into ensuring her re-election as the MP for Wirral South. We celebrated with cake before everyone went out on the doors to meet voters and spread the word about Alison's campaign.
Alison's supporters came from the local area and all over Wirral, because they understand how important this election is in protecting our community from the Tories. We have already seen the havoc this Tory government will cause, putting our jobs and services at risk and failing to provide the funds we need to keep our schools and hospitals running as they should. This is clearer than ever after the New Ferry explosion, which highlights the disregard the Tories have for our local communities as they postpone action for the election.
It is never too late to offer your support in any capacity that you are able to. The campaign office is based at 57 New Chester Road in New Ferry. If you want to knock on doors, phone or leaflet to canvass support for Alison then you can do so by attending the sessions which will be held at 11am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, and 6pm daily and will run from the newly launched campaign office. You can give the campaign a call on 07711128036.
The support that has already been shown has been amazing and Alison looks forward to seeing you in the coming weeks. Come and join us.
