A Labour government will balance the books

The last five years have seen the slowest economic recovery in over a hundred years.

As a result of the government’s failure the recent budget has seen them having to scramble around to find ways to plug the funding
gap because they were too scared to tackle hedge funds and big business’s offshore tax avoidance scams – they’re left having to look for deeper cuts.

George Osborne said he would sort the budget deficit in one Parliament but he has failed. He also failed to protect our country's credit rating and he's added £200bn to our country's debt.

“This is a Tory Government that can’t be trusted – it failed to balance the books in this Parliament and is now planning to double the cuts to the police, local services and the NHS again in the next couple of years” said Alison.
